Flat tax and Value Added Tax or VAT why the Republicans and the Democrats ignore them.
For over 30 years the two parties have nefariously ended every 3rd party attempt to get on all 50 states ballot. With this simple move and creating class warfare they have maintained power and brought the United States of America to its knees. We the people must stand up and take back our rights to govern this great country. If the US of A had a flat tax we could abolish the IRS or at the very minimum cut them back 90%. Our economy works on the consumption side of economics. So why haven’t we switched over? Because the politicians love power, the power that corrupts. How could politicians make deals for the rich and powerful if they no longer had control of who gets taxed most. Wake up America the answer is not so complicated. If you listen to our elected officials “we need them to save us from ourselves”. No we need to be saved from them! We are not children; we should be able to vote any one or any new party that comes along!
Frozen in Time
Unfortunately our government is so divided were frozen in time. Should we help the Libyans or should we watch them go it alone? I hated the way the Left demonized President Bush, I also despise the way the Right is demonizing President Obama. When the country as a whole elects a President we should all respect this. Now it seems if it isn't my pick then stop everything until my choice is in office. As a nation all we can do is lurch ahead when trying to solve any of the truly meaningful problems of our time. Now that we are here in this partisan atmosphere maybe some fresh new ideas are needed. For one why do we always look at our military to help people fighting for democracy? We have an all-volunteer military now and it works. So why don't we as a nation ask for volunteers to go fight for freedom in any country that asks? Or have we forgotten what it took to gain our freedom? My son felt freedom for all and defense of his country was important. He put his money where his mouth is! The young man is in Iraq for one year with the Army. Would I go to Libya at 56 to help bring freedom, yes I would. The only problem is I guess I would be a terrorist in some eyes. If our government would organize and sanction this we could make a difference. Well enough of an old mans ramblings.
Here we go again.
Now that Peter King is holding hearings on Muslim radicalization we have another wedge between cultures. No hearings on jobs no hearings on the Wall Street rip off. No hearings on what the banks are doing to the people of the United States. No hearings on why the middle class is shrinking. The politicians think they can fill the air waves with petty hand ringing and we the people will go back to sleep. Remember when the Republicans wanted a deficit so we could sell over seas? Now that the Democrats have followed this philosophy, the Republicans are screaming, “oh my god the world is coming to an end!” when it is not. Corporations love both parties, neither one will stand up for the people.
What to cut?
What I can’t fathom is why we start with the most vulnerable to pay back what we have borrowed. Have the politicians stopped borrowing from China to give to dictators who massacre their own people? Have we closed any of our overseas military bases? Are these governments reimbursing the US for their protection?
Class Warfare
As we can all see the Republicans and the Democrats have locked into the tried and true “class warfare” so they don’t have to work on the real problems. We the people must demand they stop this tactic and do the peoples work. It’s so easy, a flat tax and scale back the Federal Government to the 1950’s. Our esteemed politicians have created hundreds of thousands of laws telling us how to live our lives. The truth is they are the most immoral and ethically challenged of us all.
Freedom
The Flag represents our freedom, however the constitution is the document that keeps us free people. The two parties have lost respect for the constitution and believe they are above the most important document the world has ever seen. We must take all the unconstitutional laws starting in the 1950’s off the books.
Time to go by the constitution
We need as a nation to get back to the basic constitution. Review all the laws that have been created since 1970 and eliminate anything unconstitutional.
Why we need a 3rd party
As we can all see most politics take place
behind closed doors. Obama ran on the grounds he would have all negotiations on
C span. That promise never got off the ground. Now the Democratic Party will
pay at the voting booths, as they should. When you only have two parties anyone
can cut a deal with very little chance of anyone finding out. Once a third
person or party comes into the negotiations it just might leak out what was
said. Until the political system starts to work for the people again we must
vote 3rd party. Look at what the corporate world has done to us.
Regulations are watered down to the point they have lost what they were
intended for. Cutting deals with Ben Nelson of Nebraska, the Unions and Florida
are just a few recent examples of cutting deals behind closed doors and then announcing
it to the media.

One party rule
As we can see the 3rd party trend is alive and well. The Massachusetts election of Scott Brown was facilitated by the Independent vote. I used to say I was neutral in politics because I always voted 3rd party. Now I’m against both parties. Republican, Democrat they are one in the same. Only interested in the power they can generate for their own party. They don’t care about the little people any more. The continued election of Democrats and or Republicans shows that loyalty to the party is still alive and strong. The voting public only gets respect from the politicians when they vote 3rd party. The Democrats and the Republicans take for granted we the people once in office. After we have a strong three party system then start term limits.
